Welcome my Bright and Happy People! Today, I want to continue our business theme for the month. I am going to walk you through how I manage my blog to be able to get all of my blog posts out and keep track of everything that I am doing with it. I know how hard it is to get started - I started a few different blogs before that haven't worked out as well as this one. I wrote a blog post about my experiences and what/how I did the others.
Let me walk you through how I manage this blog with all of its different moving parts without getting overwhelmed. If you have been following along with all of my posts, then you know that I am a self declared fan of Stephanie over at NoraConrad.com and everything that she's been doing. I want to show you another video of hers: How to Plan Blog Posts for 1 Year. After watching this video, I was able to start actually planning out my posts. I came up with the categories that I wanted to talk about. Then I brainstormed any and all ideas of posts that I could write. From posts about blogging to posts dictating how I got to where I am, I made sure to write down anything and everything that came to mind. After doing this, I took a blank calendar and wrote some of the titles of the blog posts I came up with on different dates. I told myself I was going to most three times a day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and filled those.
Once I got the month filled in, I started writing out the posts. As I finish writing all of them, I get images edited and set up for them and then get them scheduled. This is how I keep up with blog posts.
